SuperCoach Racing expert Chris Vernuccio provides an early look at his team and has all the big races covered for Round 1, which is just around the corner.

With less than 10 days until the gates open for SuperCoach Racing it’s time to start thinking about which horses to pick for your stables.

Our SuperCoach experts will reveal their early squads in the lead up to Round 1 next Saturday.

Only eight horses are needed with a $1.8m salary cap in a major change for the 2021 spring.

CHRIS VERNUCCIO’S STABLE

Mo’unga $375,000

She’s Ideel $350,000

Riodini $275,000

Jamaea $200,000

Incentivise $200,000

Ingratiating $200,000

Tramontana $100,000

Profondo $50,000

Jockey: James McDonald

Round 1 commences with four Group 1s – the Turnbull Stakes at Flemington and the Epsom Handicap, The Metropolitan and Flight Stakes at Randwick but so far all my horses are priced under $400,000. All four races are covered in my early team, thanks to Caulfield Cup favourite Incentivise being a bargain at $200k. He should go close to winning the Turnbull. Mo’unga is nominated for both the Turnbull and Epsom but is a better chance in the latter. Riodini has turned his form around in a big way to surge to Epsom favouritism and She’s Ideel can win again in The Metrop. In an open Flight Stakes I’m sticking with Jamaea, who defeated the current favourite and second favourite for the race.
